Welcome to STEM Marin! As a STEM Marin student, we want to make sure you’re well-informed of everything happening within the STEM Marin program.

As part of STEM Marin, you will be expected to maintain a certain level of professionalism that comes with being a STEM Marin student at San Marin High School.

  • Class Schedule – To remain in STEM Marin, you must maintain a full class schedule on the campus of San Marin High School and fulfill the program’s required classes. Details of the required classes are located in the San Marin High School Course Catalog which is available online.

  • GPA – You will be required to maintain a GPA of 2.0 or better.

  • Academic Honesty – It is district policy that students maintain a level of academic honesty and personal integrity throughout their school career. STEM Marin students are required to adhere to these policies noted in BP 5131.9 of the NUSD Board Policy regarding cheating and plagiarism.

  • Project Exhibition Night: Students will be required to attend the annual project exhibition night as assigned by STEM Marin instructors.

  • Class/Grade Events: Students will be required to attend individual grade night events as assigned by STEM Marin instructors.

  • Program Admittance: Once you have been selected and admitted to one of STEM Marin’s Programs (STEM or Biotech), you will not be permitted to change your program path mid-year.

  • Classwork:  STEM Marin’s Programs are rigorous 4-year commitments to STEM or Biotech. By agreeing to commit to the program, you are committing to a demanding, yet fulfilling educational program.
